Now in it’s 10th year, the ANZTBTest2018 conference was held on Friday 1 June 2018 at the Hyatt Hotel in Canberra, Australia.
This year’s conference was another success, with delegates hearing from industry experts on the topic of “Tailoring Testing for Success”. This year’s exceptional presentations included:

ANZTB recently ran a round-table discussion forum as one of the regular Special Interest Groups in Software Testing (SIGiST) in Perth.
Five tables were organised, each with a different topic, and attendees cycled through to a different table every 12 minutes to give them the opportunity to contribute to discussions on each topic. Each table had a facilitator that had expert knowledge in the topic to share their experiences and ensure that everyone was included in the discussion. The ANZTB are excited to announce the launch of eExams!
In partnership with Kryterion, the ANZTB are now offering candidates the flexibility and convenience of sitting ANZTB’s ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) and ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level – Agile Tester (CTFL-AT) exams at any of the Kryterion exam centres.
These exams have been developed by the ANZTB, therefore maintaining the high standard and quality in exams that ANZTB are well known for.
Our eExams offer candidates flexibility and convenience taking ANZTB’s ISTQB® exams, with immediate exam results and feedback!
Wednesday 6th December saw another successful Brisbane SIGiST held at the Treasury Hotel. Attendees started arriving early as the automation topics once again proved popular.

The Auckland SIGiST event for this quarter was a great success with over 120 attendees.
The first presenter Pramod Bommisetty from Barfoot and Thompson presented on the three Ws (What, When and Why) of test automation in the cloud. He explained the advantages, like better handling of scalability, instant access, portability with very little overhead and low cost. He discussed the challenges and risks related to cloud tools.
